Travel Bug
Travel Bug is a mobile app prototype designed to let the user become their own tour guide when traveling. Based on the popular activity geocaching, Travel Bug enables the user to completely customize their travel experience by sourcing popular tourist destinations from Google maps. The user is able to choose various locations they'd like to visit and save them to build a tour route for themselves. With each destination the user can read a brief description of the location's significance and once their phone GPS registers that they are in the area messages from other users who have visited before them will be unlocked. The prototype was created in Adobe XD and is ready for development.
